ASHLEY JOBE
November 14 ,1998 to April 7,2010
What can you say about Ashley without a smile coming to your face, Paul tells how he called and said he want a female yellow lab, the man only had the one, to which Paul said ” I have the money i’m coming to get her now .” It was love a first site for them . Ashley spend many hours sleeping on Paul chest as a pup in their favorite chair , as he tells it he could lift her with one hand she was so little .
The two of them could be scene walking the streets of Indiana, I.U.P. and Blue Spruce Park . They love going out and exploring the streets and trails seeing what they could find on their travels , meeting folks along the way, a hi and a pet on her head and they were off again.
Riding in the car was another favorite thing to do along with food, lol , weekend she would clime into bed with us and then there were the eggs, they were a must with Ashley, if you didn’t get up when she wanted she would walk around the bed till I got up it was our thing together, when Paul would go for the sunday paper. One of her favorite places to sleep was in Paul’s recliner chair it is big and soft , if you got up she went right for it , it was like a game with us on who got the chair recliner most of the time Ashley won, Her favorite place to hide was under the kitchen table.
In her later years i was just walks in the park across form her home where she ruled as it was her park (to her anyways) the walks got smaller and just being at her was enough for us till her passing.
Ashley you will always be in your hearts and thoughts, till we meet again at a the Rainbow Bridge
